I thought this was interesting. And symbolic in a way.
Should we change ourselves, rotate 180 degrees, become an entirely different person in order to become a “we?”
Or should we stay the same “me” and wait for another “me” to come along and become something new, together. Maybe an “us” instead of a “we.”
Perhaps I am reading way too much into this, since this is probably talking of ow when in a relationship you loose the “me” attitude and think of yourselves as a “we” meaning compromising and being thoughtful and selfless in order to have a lasting relationship.
But even then, how much compromising is necessary in order to have a “lasting relationship?” What is a “lasting relationship?” One+ year(s)?
Relationships tend to pose more questions then answers for me.
